With more than 40 years of experience, Kevin’s career spans the design and management of hundreds of projects across the country and abroad. Kevin joined POSS in 2005. He became a Principal in 2007 and has been a Partner since 2019.
As Vice President of Architecture, he leads the firm’s architectural practice, overseeing design excellence, project staffing, and client service to ensure thoughtful, well-executed outcomes. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Idaho and is NCARB-certified, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and currently licensed to practice in 11 states.
Inspired by landscape, travel, and the built environments that shape daily life, Kevin brings a grounded and pragmatic approach to design. He believes successful design emerges from a deep understanding of place, client goals, and the realities of construction- resulting in architecture that is both enduring and responsive.
Outside the office, Kevin values time spent exploring new places and engaging with the communities where Poss’s work takes root. He is a past member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Construction Specifications Institute; a past member and president of the Basalt Lions Club; a past charter organization representative and executive board member of the Western Slope Colorado Council, Boy Scouts of America; and a past community coordinator for Kids Voting USA. Kevin also cherishes time with his family and grandchildren.
