Aspen native Hana approaches architecture as a dialogue between nature, technology, and human experience. Grounded in the principles of biomimicry and inspired by the surrounding landscape, she creates designs that blur the line between the built and natural environments.
A graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, Hana has spent over a decade at Poss, contributing to residential and commercial projects across the mountain West and beyond. She’s known for her collaborative process, technical precision, and ability to craft architecture that feels timeless and connected to place.
Hana has served on the AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE) board, advancing sustainable and regenerative design practices. Deeply engaged in her community, she volunteers with The Buddy Program and The Aspen Institute and was recognized by The Aspen Times as “Best Volunteer” in 2017.
When she’s not designing, Hana can be found in motion—on her snowboard, on the trail, or discovering new landscapes across the globe that continue to shape her perspective on design and place.
